Hacking DSTWO PLUS will be released in October

I'm kinda excited about this, I know GW has said they are not pairing with this but I'm interested to see how the DSTWO PLUS keeps up and if it will brick. I won't lie, I am hoping at first it does brick they consoles.... Not to be mean, but I wanna see if the worst happens if super card will flake or fix it.

maybe but... they did say what gateway can do, dstwo+ can as well. and afaik, gateway isn't limited to mset.

From lookin at the videos of how they launch the GW 3ds, it look like they used the ds profile exploit, quite possibly could work for other models if mset exploit is in place. Haven't looked into the mset exploit, which requires to downgrade a system function (N3DS models), but trial an error(Q/A) will have to be done when the card is in my hands. Its a good thing I bought the n3ds just for shits and giggles, still haven't done much with it.

Speculation because most GW clones support 4.5 max

Also because the display videos showed the system settings at 4.x

the display video also showed the gateway menu splashed screen is gateway ultra.
even gw red cart need to be updated first to support gw ultra.

Man, I can't downgrade to 4.5 on a 2DS.

Since it use Gateway plugin then it will work on firmwares between 4.1-9.2

No it won't. It will only soft-brick if you attempt to format it.

Regardless, there's no reason for 2DS owners to be using 4.x MSET anyhow.
