Could someone do me a HUUGE favor ?

I'd need a complete copy of the whole DSLinux stuff from their Micro SD Card uploaded in a zip.

Additional info needed:
- DS Flashme Version / 3DS Firmware Version
- Supercard DS Two Version
- Micro SD: *Brand *Speed *Formating (Fat32/Fat 16, what proram was used to format ?)

Thanks in advance if anyone wants to take this ordeal.

I really want this to work again, however all attempts have failed me :(

Here's a zip of DS2Linux: http://www.mediafire.com/?v8jmwr3blr2bxn5

Additional info:
-I only use it for PS1 so the GAME folder is missing all the other emulator folders
-using a plain old DS Lite
-DS2 firmware v1.20
-generic Chinese micro SD card, class 2; FAT32 on Windows 7
-no moonshell
-I'm an end user; not too saavy about these things

EDIT: the memory card file has a FF7 save on it...
EDIT#2: bad link

Thanks in advance.

I'll try this and if the results are what I expect - not working for me: I'll have to buy a new Micro SD (probably a Class 10).

Ah, btw: What clustersize did you use when formatting ?

FFVII Save ? Wonder how far you got ? I finished that game, albeit I didn't do all of the Sidequests, especially those ridiculous hard superbosses (that underwater one for example).
( Only remember that I had Vincent on my team or something...)

Sorry. I forgot to include the plugins. So here's the complete .zip file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4v9g7lro32r27v9/DS2_ROOT.zip
The cluster size was 4k I believe. The card's actually a 2gb Samsung. I also ran it with my class 10 Patriot; I didn't see a difference.
The save is a hack with everything unlocked. I was using it to test everything out, to see how it ran.

Actually I'm out of ideas now.

I'm currently trying those:

Code:
format Drive: /q /a:32k /fs:fat16

format X: /Q /A:64k /FS:FAT

format Drive: /q /a:4k /fs:fat32

format X: /Q /A:32k /FS:FAT32

and perhaps that Partition Wizard with all my Micro SD's
(2x 2GB,2x 4GB, 2x8GB)

I even once got it booting somehow... man :hateit:

There have been times where it wouldn't load and would just sit at a black or white screen. I just turn it off and on again and usually that does the trick. There's really no rhyme or reason.

Here's a drag-and-drop download. Just put it on the root of the card. Hope you like blue.

Blue is fine :)

Lets hope this works.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT:

I'm not so sure why it will still freeze at the Penguin.

If you fetch any SD Card you can find, format it, and drop your files on it ?:
Will it work ?

More Questions:
What brand/speed class is your Micro SD ?
Your DSTwo Firmware is ?
The DS you use is ? (IF it is a 3DS: What Firmware ?)

What Format option/Tool do you use ?

My main card that runs it is an 8GB Patriot LX Class 10 Micro SDHC. I used Windows 7 to format it to fat32 at a 32k allocation size.

The second card is a regular Chinese 8GB SanDisk Class 2 Micro SDHC. I used Windows 7 to format it to fat32 at a 4096 byte allocation size.

My DSTwo uses the latest v1.23 firmware.

I use a regular DS Lite.

Are these the only cards you tried this on ?

Also:

why did you choose to format the "cheap" one with a 4096 byte allocation size ?

I'm away from home right now, but I'll be able to test more in a couple days.

I've never bothered to learn what allocation size meant, so I have always left it on the default setting when formatting it. I'm assuming the card couldn't be set higher.

I've been trying to install this on my 32 GB Kingston Class 4 micro sd... and after the penguin shows up, I just get a black screen. I used the drag and drop download on my 8GB Adata class 10 micro sd and it worked fine, but on the kingston, it just won't work. I even tried reformatting the sd using disk utility on mac, but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

EDIT: My Adata uses a DOS_FAT_32 partition, while my Kingston uses a Windows_FAT_32 partition... maybe that has something to do with it. Wasn't actually the problem.
