Nice that you are still around. Dingux Z4 seems to work, but I can't get the Dingux Z5 version to test (no idea how to get it). It might be a good idea to get the English localization from the iSMM version added as a link since I don't think many people would like to go around trying to guess the Chinese.
Seems to have the same issues as the one for the iSMM. Possibly a corruption somewhere since my dstwolinux plugin has since left itself on a black screen now (I need to reformat again :/).

Not meaning to bump or double post, but I really want this thread to get more attention. This has been a project a lot people wanted and no one seems to notice is actually out.

It doesn't seem to work for me, it just goes to a black screen.

dingux running on the ds2 is pretty cool. but what interests me more are the emulators. are we going to see optimizations for those projects or just the core dingux?

you might get some more interest here: http://boards.dingoonity.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=n3ho6hd3ntis232rsn8bvtcpm7

there are a lot of developers on that board, there might be someone interested in getting involved.

I been messing with this today. So far i tried:
eDuke3D, runs quite good, dunno bout save/load
hHeretic, also runs good, dunno bout save/load
Gianas Return,runs slow
Vectrex, runs ok but hard to get the screen to fit right [edit: found an older version that fits the screen better]
Playstation Emu, LOL didnt expect much from this, but i still was able load up Donpachi (unplayable slow and choppy).

I didnt do anything special, I just used the z4 (and then i grabbed the z5 release), and set it up per the ds2Linux install instructions step by step.
maybe try a different microSD card?

At the moment I only own one MicroSD.
Did you use the z4 from the iSmart Linux folder? Because I honestly have no idea where to download Dingux.

im downloading it from the "URL for Download Dingux Z4 and Z5.txt" from the zip file which you get from this thread.

edit, actually where can we get dingux z4, dingux z5?

I found my old microSD card, I am testing it on that now.

Turns out it was my MicroSD card that was problem.

It's an interesting start, right now the emulators are only working so-so. Hopefully once the hardware gets better support, so will the emulators and homebrews.

I can't wait to see what the future can bring to this project.

Is this using Legacy Dingux or OpenDingux? I'm assuming it's Legacy, OD has better performance and is being used as the OS for the new GCW Zero handheld so alot of optimized emus/games are or will be released soon. Maybe tysong can look into it but this is still great news for the DS.
