Hacking DSTWO + already ap patched games

I would like to know if there will be any problems with already AP patched roms.

Will they work or supercard dstwo runs only clean roms?

Supercard should be able to run practically all roms clean.
AP patched roms should work too.

Depends on how the AP patch was done (sometimes they're not actually done right), most carts expect clean ROMs though so you should use those whenever possible.

It's not specifically about the tool, but the patch itself (some are effective, others can cause issues and change too much), but from what I've seen most there should be fine... though if you have any issues download the ROMs you've already patched again so they're clean.

the DSTwo knows how to handle all AP

Yes I know but i have my microsd from my EDGE card that i just sold and asked if they would work on the supercard dstwo (just ordered it).

I used clean roms and patched with the ds-scene rom tool.

Will they work or not?

they may work
but if you get freezes or errors in the game (pokemon black/white 2 will freeze if patched on a DSTwo) just change it for a clean one
but you risk your saves if it was to freeze during a save

nice so I will find the clean roms and trim again.

there is no problem with trimmed roms on supercard dstwo?

i dont believe there is a issue but i dont use trimmed roms
as it messes with the CRC check that can be done
so again if you get freezes switch to a full clean rom

I use trimmed ROMs, modern cart softwares (Wood, AKAIO, EOS) don't use the CRC or anything for detection, they read the header info to know what game is it and such.

some members own multiple carts

DSTwo has no reason to use Wood
EOS is much better as it very rarely needs a update to play new games
where Wood needs updates to play newer games
