Hello all. I have a question regarding DSOrganize (3.2)

I constantly keep patching/replacing the .bin files or whatever they are into the RESOURCES directory.
I try to load homebrew files, and they will not load.

It can load very few files, but it freezes shortly after.

Suggestions?

I can't launch any homebrew from DSO on the R4, an I have replaced the exec_stub.bin file. I've tried both of the loaders but neither work. its easier just to use the regular game launcher in the R4

Try turning off the auto-patcher in the DSO config file. That seems to have fixed the problem for some people. The problem is, the R4DS auto-patches the file ad DSO tries to patch the file as well, which breaks things.

you can dldi patch your homebrew manually using Dldino-apatch (http://dldi.drunkencoders.com/index.php?title=DLDI_No-AutoPatch). also i have booted many homebrew apps using moonshell.

cheers,

How do you boot apps with moonshell? It has never worked for me.

my apps are properly dldi patched using a 3rd party tool on my pc. i just navigate to the .nds file and boot it up. i've used it for C|irc, pocketphysics, quakeI and II, dsdoom, and a few other games. i haven't tested it fully on every bit of homebrew out there, i never thought that was required.
