Hacking DSi USB Charging cable

I've been looking for a USB cable for charging the DSi when I go abroad on holidays (I take a Mains/USB plug & a selection of cables for all my gizmos instead of all the different chargers) & I came across this (one of many)

& I'm a little bit puzzled by the statement that it's a Charger AND Data Transfer cable

So my question is - What data can you supposingly 'transfer' between your DSi & your PC via USB ?

I've seen no mention about DSi/PC transfer capabilities other than 'You can take photos & transfer them to your PC (via memory card)'. I've had a quick (& I do mean quick) look through the Manual & there seems to be no mention there either

Just speculation, but a pc might recognize the SD card as a usb device. It might even recognize the DSi internal memory, but I doubt that.

absolutely none, these same chargers are on dx and they're used solely for charging. they're really usefull

just to confirm, mercluke is right. the cable does not let you send or recieve data/files to and from the DSi. I don't think the DSi's port is capable of it.

Just as I thought, but wanted to check anyway.

Do you think I can sue for 'False advertising' ?

(& No I havn't brought one)
