DSi replacement shell issue

I purchased a replacement shell for a dsi but the top and bottom halves of the shell are separated. I couldn’t find a piece in the box that would let me fit them together or anything like that. Can anyone please explain to me how the halves come together on an original dsi shell so I can try and put the halves together?

I would guess there are some screws to screw the two halves together once you tranferred all the hardware over.

Hinge and metal barrel piece in the DSi holds them together.

Thank you both for your responses! I will see if I can take out the hinge and metal barrel and put them into the replacement shell.
