The dsi has things the ds lite doesn't have so yeah.

That's what I thought, but then I read this.

Software that will only work on a Nintendo DSi will join titles playable on a Nintendo DS or DS Lite that also feature DSi-specific enhanced capabilities, like Ubisoft's Jam Sessions 2 and My Healthy Cooking Coach.

Does that mean that games specifically released for the DSi will also be released for the DS and DS Lite, but without some features?

That means that alongside DSi games, the DSi can play normal DS games (some with enhanced features).
