A lot of people must be wondering if all the DSi flashcarts will be compatible with the new DSi LL. We just got one from Japan and we tested the following 8 carts on the DSi LL:

Acekard 2i
DSTTi
R4i SDHC (red box)
R4i RTS
EZ Flash Vi
M3i Zero
Supercard DS ONE-i
DS iPlayer

All 8 of them worked on the new DSi LL.
Please see the video for the test.

Thank goodness its compatible with the AceKard 2i, now I dont feel dumb just purchasing one. I was going to purchase the DSi but now that this one will have an even larger screen it might be worth the wait, any idea as to when it will be available here in the US

So, that "tough new AP" was just a bluff on Nins part apparently.

Off Topic, man that thing is huge. Doesn't look like you'd be able to hold it comfortably at all.

I think they just meant tougher than the standard DS. It's already been confirmed that there is NO difference between a DSi and a DSi LL/XL besides the size of the case and screens.....and stylus, etc.

...and a few pre-loaded DSi Ware titles.

Yeah, but they're doing that with some standard DSi models now aren't they?

If anyone remembered Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story had better Anti-Piracy in the (U) version than the (J) version, so what happens if they do that with this so those Flashcarts don't work the (U) DSi XL? I doubt it though as it uses the same firmware as the DSi.
