Gaming DSi clicks when closed?

So I just got the new Pokemon DSi because I needed a replacement and my gal wanted Black, so that was a no brainer...however I believe it's got an issue with it...maybe I am wrong.

Whenever I close it, I can push a little on it and I hear it "snap" again into place it seems...is that normal? Is it due to being so new?

At least my DSiXL doesn't Click when I close it if that helps. AFAIK the DSi shouldn't either. Have you asked about it in the store you bought it from? I've been able to see other consoles in stores if I think there is something wrong with mine

EDIT: DSiXL bought about a month ago (Red DSiXL SMB Limited Edition).

My bronze launch XL clicks about halfway through the closing motion. It seems normal, though.

That's the position. It locks/clicks in three different places instead of the normal 2 places. But he's saying if he pushes down, he can hear a click.
