So -- I bought a Japanese DSi... and I wanted to use the camera and save the photos to the SD card (so I can put them on my laptop)... but all the text is in Japanese, and I am not sure if this can be done.

I took a few photos, but they are not on the SD card.

Is this possible? Or are the photos encrypted?

Any help with the menus/settings is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

EDIT:

Not to worry -- I found an English manual on-line, and am sorted!

yes, it is possible to save pictures taken with the dsi camera directly to the sd card. simply follow these steps:

turn on system and open the camera application>
in the left hand corner it says system, on the right it says sd card>
press sd card...and thats it...your finished....now every photo you take is saved to the sd card.

you can also transfer photos from the system memory to the sd card by:

clicking on options in the bottom right hand corner>
then click on the icon with the picture of the ds and the sd card>
then click on the top bar which says copy from system to sd card.
