Hi! I'm Luca.Fraga and I'm new here (I'll register when I finish to write this message), and I've coded (with Aurelio Mannara) a homebrew application for Nintendo DS Flashcard, DSecure.

DSecure can protect your Flashcard with a password, replacing the card loader with itself. Homebrew is for now compatible with EZ Flash V/V+/Vi, AceKard 2 (but not 2i ) , Original R4 and Top Toy DS (DSTT).

For unknown reasons, It doesn't seem to work on Acekard 2i , but you can try... if it won't work, simply reinstall the kernel

No way... CycloDS has internal kernel... and it's a suicide tring to hack it!

Wow, that's some nice work you did there LucaFraga! Could be really handy, when someone turns on your DS and you don't want him/ her to see what you were playing

Now there is an automated installer for Windows : download it from download page (http://it.dsecure.wikia.com/wiki/DSecure_Download_Page), open it, plug the microsd, select microSD drive, choose your flashcard model and press Install

I'm pretty stupid.

Like, I turned it on, then I chose DSecure, it turned off. I turned it back on, put in my password it turned off. Then I turned it on, it was normal again.

Am I supposed to use it every time I'm not using it?

Yes, it's all OK

When you play... play!
When you finished, run DSecure and DS is protected
When a little cousin want to play, DS is locked by password

When you wanna play, insert password, and enjoy
When you finished, run DSecure
... loop

It seems to be complicated.. but is very confortable
