Anyone have DSCovered working on their R4?

I have a R4 clone and it runs wood firmware just fine. Unfortunately my daughter wants DSCovered. The directions to get it working are a bit cryptic. From the readme...

R4DS - Wood - Basic instructions
Download Xenon++'s build of R4Wood from
http://www.mediafire.com/file/yddmt1mnz5y/woodr4sdhc.7z
extract it to your card and rename the correct file to akmenu.nds
Copy akmenu4.nds and d_system folder to the root of your card.
Set up your card using DSCovery.exe (.NET runtime required)
Start up your R4 go to the settings, page 2, select loader_r4wood.nds.

If I do as directed then I'm left without a _DS_MENU.DAT file and the flash cart refuses to load anything. If I put the _DS_MENU.DAT file provided in the DSCovered build then it'll load fine but it wont launch games. Help?

PS: Getting ysmenu setup on the card is even more complicated than DSCovered.

Problem solved. I found a little program that'll spit out a total remake of the firmware with everything you'd need. YSMenu with the latest game compatibility of dstt, and DSCovered included on top of that. If you need the program you can get it at

PS: I couldn't figure out how to delete my post. This was the next best thing. Maybe even better. Since someone else who is looking for something similar can find help this way.

Lol, that is kind of unexpected. I wasn't expecting my program to still do anything (I don't even really do anything with that program anymore either). Well, as long as it helped I suppose xD.
