Wow this one is really hard to take, I think that it's done, I'll sell my DS-X to something better, maybe a CycloDS seems pretty good, or maybe an M3, in any way, i'll be selling my DS-X soon.

Well, that's it. My R4 has arrived, but it's at the post office 'cos I wasn't home when the mailman passed by.

Oh well, tomorrow I say farewell to the DS-X.

It works flawlessly using my new G6 Real DS. Im going to buy this one as soon as its out - really great. But I don't want to spoil the experience by playing something I don't understand.

my M3DS works fine with everything ive tryed

including Zelda but i dont wanna spoil the game by playing it without been able to read the story

It's kind of disappointing to see DS-X not support any more games. Maybe they'll give DS-X owners a surprise this year with a proper update and a rebate check! Dreams are dreams, eh?

To add another game to the list of growing titles that won't work due to the savegame issue: Worms: Open Warfare.

According to the wiki, the ones that need fixing for that issue are now
1110
1158
1159
1168
1170
1181
1240
1255
1256
1288
1292
1293
1294
1298
1319
1365
1368
...but since nobody bothers to test games with DS-X anymore, maybe it's 10x more in reality... =]

All this rant because for a change 1 frickin' game doesn't work??!?!?!?, and it is even in Japanese?!?!?

I am a DS-X owner for more than a year now and all I have to say to you is:
I play a lot more with my PSP.

Besides? what is Zelda anyway? just a pitiful pile of lies...
err.... wait, that is Dracula's definition of a MAN....

Actually its a "miserable pile of lies"
I own a dsx and agree its a POS but I talked em into giving me one for free for writing a homebrew that I never wrote. lol
My way of stickin it to em for being so full of themselves.

The dslazy seems like an awesome fix...but I have a Mac. I use Parallels to do my DS-X updates, but when I try to run dslazy, it doesn't work. Anyone know of someone who has uploaded the patched Zelda rom?

Edit: Used the arm7 injector from Bad_Ad that was linked from the DS-X compatibility page. I can now play Zelda!

This long delay is ridiculous. I would have gotten an R4 had it been out when I ordered the DS-X. That being said, I don't feel that I'm stuck with the DS-X, as it does everything (now) that I want it do to. Oh well, maybe I'll give the ds-x to my gf and get an R4 that way.

And that the saves revert to an older state, I thought it wasn't an issue anymore but I got the firmware 1.1.2 and I have this exact same problem.

And the team is kinda dead, no post from the team for more than a month.

Seems like there are other company that do a better job.

Awesome, it works with the fix. I really wanted to play this today since today is my only day off and was kind of disappointed when it didn't work. Props to dslazy and people who figured this out.

What (J) ROM did you extract the arm from to patch the new US version of Phantom Hourglass? I would like to use the Sim City or Hoshigami as mentioned above but I can't find either of the Japanese versions of those anymore. Would any Japanese games' arm7 work?

Also, can you save?

Update:

I was able to use 1201 - Dokodemo Yoga (J) to patch Zelda US. It will now boot/load. We will see if I encounter any save issues.

I'm getting a 4gb large .nds-file in the end :S Why oh why? Could someone upload a version of the game that is confirmed to work? Either post here or PM me a link please?
