I'm using the R4..it's saying

It can't read the config file. You must DLDI patch this ROM if needed and create a config. file named
/data/dstwitter.config.xml

Little Help

I am not so sure the old homebrew clients work but that is besides the point right now.

DLDI is a method that allows various different flash carts to all write to their SD cards where before it was a nightmare, originally you have to manually patch the games but all modern flash carts will do it for you.
The "Create a config file" step is easy enough.

It is asking you to make a directory called data on your microSD card on the root of the card (if your drive is f: then it will look like "f:\data\"). This was another thing kind of adopted by homebrew as ever other homebrew program used to have its own directories and that made a mess of microSD card navigation.
In that data directory you need to make a file called dstwitter.config.xml (it could do it itself but making new files is something some carts/dldi patches do not do well so stick with your computer for that). Depending upon your setup this might be half tricky as windows likes to take control away from the users, still XML is just text so make a new text file and rename the extension to ".config.xml". You may need to make explorer show extensions for this one in which case http://support.microsoft.com/kb/865219 might help.
