ROM Hack ds touchscreen fix

hello there and wish you happy holidays
i dont post a lot of thread but i really need to know
is there by any chance a patch or homebrew or any way to fix the ds touchscreen i tried using cilebration but it dont worked i really want to finish ouendan 1 before holiday finish

A friend of mine has the same issue. It does seem to be a calibration problem however I'm not sure if it can be fixed with homebrew due to the way the firmware is set up (speculation, mind you).

Anyhow, what helped for my friend, is to "cheat" the calibration. For example, if your touchscreen is off by 2 mm to the right, try calibrating it by pushing the left side of the calibration target. Next, start up pictochat to see if it helped or not.

i had the same problem
i flashed my ds and it works great now...
not sure if its a fix all but it did work for me...

When you get on Calibration, watch carefully where your Stylus touches!

It could be a problem of your screen though, say, you hit it way too hard, or scratch it too much.
