Hacking DS Screen Protectors..

So, on the top screen, when I push down on it with moderate force, theres these weird smudge things that pop out.

I was wondering if this is normal, and it only happens in one area of the screen. I have a Hori Screen Protectors over my screens, and it only happens with the screen protectors on.

take off the protectors and wet them then dry them then put them back on
