Well im looking for a good turnbased rpg for the ds. These are the ones i have played.

Chrono Trigger
FF 3+4
Pokemon

DISLIKED:
Kingdom hearts 385/2
Mario and luigi
The world ends w/ you
FFtactics a2
Devils Survivor
DQ 4+5

I enjoyed Suikoden Tierkreis, as well as Dragon Quest 4 and 5.

Magical Starsign is also quite entertaining.
Oh, check out the Mario & Luigi series, as well.

Suikoden Tierkreis, is a good game. Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey is good in my opinion although it is only available in Japanese, not like Devil Survivor. Disgea ds is good for a strategy RPG, so is fire emblem. Or you could get a few emulators for the ds and play some older rpgs if you have not already.

How could you enjoy the FF games on DS but not DQ? DQV is one of the greatest RPGs that I have ever played. Whatever I guess you're entitled to your opinion.

As for RPGs... Disgaea is worth a shot, especially if you don't get bored easily.

Super Robot Taisen is a good turn based RPG, and I guess that the RNR games (Megaman Starforce) can be considered turn based. As said earlier, you could wait for Golden Sun, which was amazing.
There are a couple of others, but as I don't have my DS at the moment, I can't think of any others.

Just thought, you could download tales of Hearts or tales of Innocence, if you don't mind scores of Japanese text.

TWEWY is an ARPG, so I hardly think you can enjoy it if don't like DQ.
The other are SRPG, not turn based RPG.

you tried the wizard of Oz? but I don't think you are going to enjoy the controls.

Suikoden is one of my favourite DS games. It really is a great game. I would be even better if they had got some decent voice acting done though lol. It's probably got the most voice acting in any DS game I have played and some of the worst too. Especiallyatthestartofthegamethecharacterstalkreallyreallyfast.

Voice acting aside it is a quality game and worth a play to anyone.
