Gaming DS RPGs

Ohyeslikehowthemaincharacterspeakslikethis. Yeah, Suikoden is one of my favourite RPG's, next to KH: Days and FF Tactics Advance 2.

Well im looking for a good turnbased rpg for the ds. These are the ones i have played.

Err, I love almost everything you put on the DISLIKED section. Maybe it's because KH is not turned based! Why bother listing it there! Also TWEWY is not turn based. It's incredibly illogical to put them there and highly unfair because they do not belong to what you are looking for. Also, how dare you shun the most played game in all of Japan!

if you like megaman there is the starforce series, also phantasy star zero is very good!

I enjoyed Suikoden Tierkreis, as well as Dragon Quest 4 and 5.

Magical Starsign is also quite entertaining.
Oh, check out the Mario & Luigi series, as well.

Suikoden is one of my favourite DS games. It really is a great game. I would be even better if they had got some decent voice acting done though lol. It's probably got the most voice acting in any DS game I have played and some of the worst too. Especiallyatthestartofthegamethecharacterstalkreallyreallyfast.

Voice acting aside it is a quality game and worth a play to anyone.

No kidding that one kid you play at the beginnning is really really fast at talking compared to his friend!!!

I just started the game to check it out lol

Edit: He talks faster than the subs showing up on the screen, as opposed to the other characters talking...

Uhhh... Luminous Arc games? O: I enjoyed those. Though the story itself is really cheesy, the battles are fun.

And KH is NOT turn based, TWEWY as well.

From this point on, you are dead to me. How could anyone dislike TWEWY or Kingdom Hearts?! That's blasphemous! Only people who don't play video games dislike those!

It's pretty clear to me that you like the traditional RPGs only, hence why you disliked all the Action/Strategy RPGs.
Try Nostalgia, you should like it since it's made by the same company that made FF 3 and 4.

For me, TWEWY was pretty neat until i found cheats for it.
Then I just leveled my badges up until I got bored of being awesome at it.

Cheats make games unfun

Lol I admit it was too much to get my head around AT FIRST, but Im so glad I kept playing- its one of the BEST rpgs.. not only for DS but just a great game in general.

Also, if u like J-RPGs with a lot of voice-acting and cutscenes, try Suikoden Tierkreis.. Its a really underrated amazing game, but only play with the UNDUBBED PATCH (Find on this forum) otherwise the voices will get on your nerves

EDIT: And to the guy above, yeah I never used cheats lol.. I dont really use cheats coz it makes games pointless -___-

im also going to vouch for Suikoden Tierkreis as i just finished it.

This game has huge content and a epic storyline to boot, definitely my favorite ds game so far. Heaps of weapons and areas with the only small complaints being some funny looking 3D models, minimal differences between all 108 character and a basic weapon/class combat system. i would say its exactly the same as Final Fantasy VIII on ps2.

The touch controls are actually well done.
I totally enjoyed the game.

Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure
It's a bit easy, but has a fun story.

MY World, My Way
It's bit different than standard turn-based rpgs. You may like it.
