Hacking DS Rom size

I have a new super mario bros. rom its 32 mb in size but in the site it said 256 mb. What does the 256 mb mean?

1 megaBYTE = 8 megaBIT

It's 32 megaBYTES, meaning 256 megaBITS.

1 megaBYTE = 8 megaBITS.

ROM sizes are usually given in megaBITS.

Also, manufacturers often state flashcard sizes in megabits, instead of megabytes.

So before considering a flashcard, check for megabits/megabytes, because it may turn out the card is 8 times smaller than you thought

ohh god not this again, on flashcarts and cartridges size is measured in bits no bytes, 1 byte is 8 bits thats it can u please use the search function for these kinds of questions bcoz theyve been asked like 100 times!

Its usually writen:
MB - Megabyte
Mb - Megabit

so i can just basically buy a 256 mb sd card for my ez4 and be able to play any game game any develepor makes for ds since the biggest they can make is 1Gbit which is 128 MB

well 128 MB is the biggest wevw seen... for now...
but yes, it will do nicely
