Hello. One of the pins in my DS's Slot-1 fell out today, and i am mad, since it won't read any game i put in there. Is there any way i can repair it?

I have had some success pulling things around in the past (I am guessing it fatigued and probably left enough for you to pull a bit up to make a connection) but in reality you are going to want to replace it.

http://www.amazon.com/Slot-Card-Socket-Nin.../dp/B0035EOYZ0/ They are available on many sites and you might be able to shave off a dollar or two so do what you will. As far as I am aware they are all from the same supplier unlike cases so quality should not be an issue.

Snip the pins off first or risk pulling a trace when you remove the entire "shroud" which is annoying to have to repair.

Does a nice job on some basic surface mount techniques you can pull off easily enough.
