Hacking DS Phat replacement case

Hey everyone, I still have my lauch ds phat and I am looking to buying a new case for it. Anyone know of any guides for replacing the case? Most I find are either brief or for the DSL. Anyone do this before? Any tips, and how much technical knowledge will I need?

Replacing a case on a DS Phat isn't that hard. I just did it the other day. My first time and it only took about 40 minutes.

Replacing case on the DSPhat is a lot easier than the Lite, there are less wires to fiddle around with.

I had to use a few different guides because they all sucked. I ended up blowing my board up or something, because it would only power on for 1/10 of a second. I had to upgrade to a DS Lite... I have a brand new Phat DS Case here now
