So I picked up a replacement case, and it went on just fine, with one major caveat: The DS will NOT turn on with the back casing attached. I've tried checking for everything, but if there's a short, I just can't find it. The fact that trying to find info on this and NOT the DS Lite is f(swear word)ing IMPOSSIBLE doesn't help.
Putting the battery directly to the contacts works just fine, but as soon as I put the back casing on (either the old OR the new one), the battery doesn't seem to work. Is there any common issue here? A cable to watch out for or some sort of common short to work around? I can't seem to find ANYTHING to fix this >_
