Gaming DS Part switches

Has anyone switched parts of their DS for other parts? What I mean is has anyone switched the DS shell parts with others (I'm talking about other actual DS ones and not the "replacement" kit ones that don't seem to fit right for some reason) just out of spite or for looks? I just would like to know.
I'd figure I'd post mine. I thank my friend for this too since mine was basically the hinge broke and one of my other friends had their DS broken for a long while so we used what worked on his old DS with all the parts that worked on my DS. Funny enough, my Stylus actually fit better in the white case than it did on the other one.

I need to something like that soon. My Mario ds hinge broke and actually we have a red/black one with a broken hinge and an all white one but that has some internal issues.
