I doubt you could even do streaming over the DS. Triple J only has .asx and .ram files for streaming, which are unsupported by any handheld streamers at the moment and are limited only to Windows Media Player and Real Player. I'd love to be able to stream .asx files...

If you really want to listen to Tripple J on the go just get podcasts for your fave shows and then buy a cheapy little FM radio for under $10.

So this just made my DS even kewler, if thats possible.
Maybe ppl already know how to do this, but I've used DSO for quite a while and didnt know it had winamp radio playlist capabilities.
I followed the mag2005 instructions and it works

(making sure you use your correct pcIP address.(192.xxx.xxx.xxx)The tutorial link give me a funky IP that didnt work).
I set up the shoutcast server/source thing, fired up winamp and launched this .txt file(renamed to test.pls)from my DSOrganize:

Shoutcast streams the 'triple j' radio (or whatever audio you play on your Winamp) to your DSO.



Running shoutcast gives you more options, but another very easy way to play low bitrate audio streams straight from PC to DSO (not through winamp) is to create
a text file and rename it test.pls put it on your flashcard and launch it with DSO.

Here's an example(my favorite radio station) of what to put in the .pls file:

You can go to Shoutcast to get some great pls files too.

I've tried connecting to radio streams on DSO before.

Didn't go too well. Buffering every 5 seconds anyone?
