Hi! This is my first post so I hope this is the rigth section.

So, I've bought a very damaged ds lite. The old owners tried to turn it into a GBA (like this), but they damaged the welding points and now its impossible to solder anything there.
Are there any other welding points I could use? Maybe on the screen pins?

Right now it doesn't boot. I've already tried with a new screen, but it doesn't work.

I hope someone could help. And sorry for bad english.

Those pads appear to be attached to vias going through the board. They pop out by C77 on the right hand side of the bottom and go through the line surrounding all those labels.

Your picture is too blurry for me to see the full extent of the damage but if those vias are intact you can probably run a wire into them.
Failing that the point of the resistor is to show power being drawn by the top screen so you might be able to find something up by the ribbon connector but that is a far harder soldering job.
