This can be fixed by using a technique called the paper trick, where you take a small slip of paper and wedge it in between the motherboard and the plastic casing of the flash card. However, occasionally nothing can fix this, due to scratching on the contacts.

This is sometimes caused by your firmware or a file in your flash card's Micro SD that has corrupted.

How does it say you have a fake card? In a DS Lite, the card is either detected or not detected. I have never heard of a DS Lite showing a message that says a flash card is fake.
By the way, an R4i isn't legit. The only real R4 is an R4 Revolution 4 DS.

This doesn't explain it very well. Do you mean you dropped your ds and it forcefully closed itself then bounced open a tad?

I would have to say your problems are caused by something being broken in the DS, but I have a few questions:
1) What type of R4 do you have?
2) Have you tried to use an actual DS cartridge at all?
Sorry about that. Forgot to read.
1) What firmware do you use on your flash card?
