Hacking DS Linker help

Ok so i picked up a DS linker today and well..im having some trouble with my .sav files.

I used to have a SC Lite before this and i wanna use my saves from my SCL on the DSL. How do i do this??

They keep getting overwritten by the ones that the DSL system creates...

any help would be great.
