Hacking DS doesn't like a flash cart on some games

Been having issues running the dark spire in my ds, so I stuck the flash cart in another and it works fine. Is there a difference in a 1 year old ds, and maybe a 2yr old one, or maybe in the colors as far as hardware goes? The black ds I have is the one acting funny with the cart, but it works 100% fine in other games.

Also is there a way to clean the pins on the inside of a ds? I switched because my older one was not recognizing my flash cart and I would have to blow into the ds to get it to work, but it boots fine every time in the black ds.

Hmm...that's weird. Are they both lites?

yup both lites, and I can confim it over and over, was driving me crazy trying to figure out why my game was freezing, then it ran fine in the other ds. But I had been using the ds to play all my games for over a month with no issues.

Try backing up your micro SD card and formatting. Also I would suggest redownloading the rom you are playing from a different site because it may be the rom itself.

The only logical explanation I can think of is that the cartridge is not making proper contact with the DS. Try cleaning the contacts both on the cartridge and in your DS. You can also try stuffing a piece of paper in between the cartridge and the slot to force it to make more contact.

alright the game gave me the same issues on my other ds, plus I went to move some files off my sd card and got parameters incorrect errors, so I backed my saves up, formatted and so far so good, issue may be fixed.
