Could someone make a quick list of "badass" games for NDS? (like GTA CW, Resident Evil and all mature games that are also good games)

It would be cool.

Uhm, you didn't notice the sticky right above?..

Essentials

Yes, but I was searching for specifically mature games (not 18+ 'cause I know that there is only GTA CW)

Dementium was rated "M" in America. Mortal Kombat was also rated an M, and recived an 18+ rating for Europe.

I'm sure there's a few more out there, also a game isn't "badass" just because of it's rating. Chinatown Wars was horrible.

Contra 4...pretty damn badass.
QFT^
Plus:
Honeycomb Beat (badass puzzle game IMO)
Elite Forces Unit 77 (3rd person army tactical)
Legend of Kage 2 (badass ninja side scroller gaiden style)
Tokyo Beat Down (i'm still on the fence about this one, it's interesting beat-em up)

Homebrew:
DronS (badass tron lightcycle game)

PEGGLE is ANTI-Badass!!!! For sure!

Hell, if Ryu Hayabusa doesn't qualify as "badass," no one does.

+1 Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword

And believe it or not, Spider-man: Web of Shadows is also pretty badass and, surprisingly, more difficult than Dragon Sword.

Neither game is rated M. Both are still badass. True story.

There's not that many M rated games on the DS... even fewer that are rated M and are actually good. The only 3 I can think of are Resident Evil Deadly Silence, GTA:CW, and Dementium.

Peggle is fucking awesome. Don't even pretend that it isn't.

True, but the graphics! Come on did they have to target the characters and artwork design to kids under five and the Elderly?

Tis badass! But, I totally turned on the cheats for that one.

You also might want to try out the bleach games that came out. Best fighting games on the system. AND ARE FIGHTING GAMES NOT BADASS?!

Because its a popcap game. Popcap designs fun addicting games, not horror shit.

Sounds more like the TS wants PSP/PS sorta games, if your game is only blood and decapitations etc I'm afraid you've bought the wrong console/handheld.

I'll go for gameplay anytime, I love to play all the remakes I missed and replay the others. Then again I think SNES had a lot (most? played on PC mostly in those days) of good games, and seeing as "graphics==your game" is the general attitude towards games these days, I'm glad the DS is still a bit different.

Ontopic: Soma Bringer is one of the best Diablo clones I've seen so far, lots of skills and different classes ... and it even has a story on par to a RPG's. Then again, no mature orso ... doubt there is even blood in there.
