Hacking DS and DS Lite Stylus Difference?

Is there a difference between DS and DS Lite styluses? I lost my DS Lite's stylus, so I want to buy a new one, but my local gaming store owner says that he only has ones for the original fat DS. And don't suggest buying online, because shipping to my country takes a few months and is expensive as hell. So, my question is: Will the original DS' stylus fit in the DS Lite's stylus slot?

I stuck a Wii U stylus in my DSI Xl. It fits in the hole...just sticks out about .5cm, but it's better than nothing.

The original DS stylus is smaller than the DS lite's. It might fit, but don't expect it to be able to stay in.
