This was a Ps2 game from around 2006. I really enjoyed it.
And now a DS port ??? Developer NEON has closed years ago ???

Just tested it, the graphics are alright, the music is a lot different than the official PS2 soundtrack is, sounds more basic, and there are levels with stages in it, and the cutscene pictures are jpeg quality from the look of it, it blurs.

All in all, i will still play this to beat it, but for replay? nope.. im not replaying it.

Nope, checked that as well, it has 5 languages in it, English and the usual french, german, spanish and italian

The original screens were indeed quite impossible, they were actually taken from the PS2 versions. This one uses graphics exactly like you'd expect the DS to output while not being pushed at all- average PS1 platformer with very little level variety or environmental details.

I've played 5 minutes of the game, and 5 minutes of the PS2 version. So far, they are NOTHING alike in gameplay. Levels are constructed differently and the level progression is not the same at all. You also can't double jump or even attack at first anymore. So far, the PS2 version is far better. I'm judging it on a non-graphics standpoint and the gameplay is not nearly as fun. Run of the mills platformer so far. Think i'll stick to the PS2 version. There are far better 3D platformers on the DS, even though the genre is rather rare. At least it controls well enough. Too bad the levels are boring.

Is it GTA style camera?

There is a camera movement that changes the direction when you walk yes, but to center the camera, stand still and press L to center the camera, if its not L it's R.
It's a decent game to be honest, but if you like this, Play the PS2 version to get the full genuine experience of Legend of Kay, including the awesome voice of kay who swears XD
