what is this btw? never heard of it. some "age of empires' themed game i guess?

It's kinda like a boardgame. The goal is to gain 10 points (I think that's the point limit), and you gain this by getting resources to build roads, settlements, towns, etc. It's actually very deep and exciting. Nice to see it on handhelds.

I had NO idea this was coming out for NDS. F'yeah! I will take the grain... all of it!

One of the, of not THE, best board game I have ever played.

Ohh my god... I just may have to start my DS again for the first time in 2years.
Love this game (havent tried this version, but how bad can it be?)!

You mean its basically the same game we have seen ages ago on the N-Gage? Its strange, I never knew about it being developed for the DS.

I love Catan... but I don't need another copy... already got 2 different hard versions (regular board game and dice version) and the XBLA version I bought too.

But this is portable... I'll have to try it out. If it's good, I'll tell my dad. He loves Settlers as much as I do.

Does someone know if the expansions are included?

I'll love this

. I'm a fanatic Catan-player. I hope they'll make a Card Game version for the DS, that would be sweet.

Hmmm a friend of mine is really into this game. I'll give it a try (if I can find it... :S)
Me to, but I expect it will mis the "together around the table and having fun" feeling.

No wait I'm sure...

I remember playing this for hours on end, making lewd sheep and wood jokes...
Does anyone know if this includes the Settlers of Catan board game expansions, or is it just the base game?

Looks like seafarers is included.

Awesome! Wish I'd known this was coming out for the DS. Just bought the knock-off Kolonists my iTouch. Would have rather waited for this. I hope this is like the java based one for the Nokia (not the N-Gage one) they did a good job on those.
