It's kinda like a boardgame. The goal is to gain 10 points (I think that's the point limit), and you gain this by getting resources to build roads, settlements, towns, etc. It's actually very deep and exciting. Nice to see it on handhelds.

You mean its basically the same game we have seen ages ago on the N-Gage? Its strange, I never knew about it being developed for the DS.

I love Catan... but I don't need another copy... already got 2 different hard versions (regular board game and dice version) and the XBLA version I bought too.

But this is portable... I'll have to try it out. If it's good, I'll tell my dad. He loves Settlers as much as I do.

I feel the same way, but it's pretty hard to get 3 people together for a board game nowadays.

Awesome! Wish I'd known this was coming out for the DS. Just bought the knock-off Kolonists my iTouch. Would have rather waited for this. I hope this is like the java based one for the Nokia (not the N-Gage one) they did a good job on those.
