Well if they did change it, it took them over 9 months to do so!

I had almost forgotten how long it takes for a typical Euro release. What the hell are the publishers and Nintendo playing at?!

They have to localize for four extra languages in Euro releases. This doesn't excuse Metroid Pinball, but this might factor into why Europe takes so long to get games.

what's the situation with the voices in this version? from what i remember the US version had subtitled Japanese voices in the animated cutscenes, but all other voice acting was removed - is this the same?
