Do you remember the PS4 game named "Dreams" presented at E3 2015 ?

Since that day, I've followed the development progress and the team (Media Molecule) has always been share-full and often made live 1 hour streaming videos on Twitch to show their progress, how the game worked and answer people's questions.
The game release is planed for this year, and I hope to see more at E3 2018 (maybe a beta access).

I find the last 3 streams very interesting, as it starts covering the logic system, action/reaction, how players can interact with its environment.
The last stream from today made a preview of the sound system, and the previous ones had the logic system and cutscene creation.
*embedded twitch video doesn't seem to work, so I added links*
They said the next stream's subject is secret, maybe E3 related?

Seeing all the possibilities and the options available in that game, I'm amazed at what they achieved and I'm interested in trying and wonder what people will create.
All the tools are like a 3DSMax or Maya program, with playable and sharable worlds.

Anyone else waiting for this game, or even just being curious?
what do you think about it? are you interested in creating something, or testing other people's creation? or not interested at all with that concept of create&share? Even if not interested in that concept, I think we can't deny they made a nice tool.

ohh, too bad.
I guess that's why they plan to do another stream in June, instead of showing live at E3.
But, at least just a little preview of all upcoming games at E3 would be enough to make everyone remember about it.

I know it looks like I'm talking alone here, but just wanted to share the latest creation from users who got the beta for two weeks.
some users worked on game logic, others on sculpture and objects creation, others on music creation, some on characters or even full games levels.

If the video doesn't work (seems it's not Fixed, thanks Issac), here is the direct link : two weeks beta result.
there will be one every Friday to show new creations from beta users.

Edit :
NDA has been lifted as of January 28th! one week left before closed beta ends.
People enjoying the beta can now stream and share all they want :D

just something I like :

hey, It's me talking alone again.
who else followed the awesome creations from all beta users last month?
I really enjoyed it and was amazed by all the ideas and what users made from the freedom they had. no censorship and no NSFW was done! few copyrighted characters and music though, these might be removed for final release, too bad.

Media molecule said they will make an announcement February's 20th, and today it is!
It's not the release date yet, but they announced their release plan.

Dreams PS4 will get an "early access" release.
For a few days in spring in each region, they will publicly open the game for sale in PSN for around 30$ (great price in my opinion! I expected 60-100€) for a limited amount of users, until they decide there are enough users for the "content creation" database of dreams.
during the spring sale window, the game will not be complete yet, MM will continue its work on it to add new tools, features, content and tutorials until official release day, but the users who got the early access will keep it forever for that price and can share all their creations (screenshot, streams, etc.) until the official released later this year.

Early Access will be available at:
29.99$/€ in UK, Australia, Austria, Benelux, New Zealand, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Spain (only?)
$29.99 MSRP (+ applicable tax) in the US and $39.99 MSRP (+ applicable tax) in Canada.

If you are a creator, developer or artist, and want to participate to the base content building of Dreams for its official release, be sure to check when the early access will be open:

some related links, if you didn't see the created games and artworks last month be sure to check twitch or this hashtag

What do you think of this anticipated release idea of unfinished development to build a base for the final game?
good idea, or attempt to make people wait after years of development, or scheme to "make the work for them" and fill the game with content before the release?
the game is not finish yet, they will add tools and features (motionless control is planed for example, oh and PSVR support).

If early access users can get updates on added tools and features while they are developed internally, without waiting for the final game, it'll be nice.
But then why not just release it officially, and release lot of updates regularly to add tools/content?
I see it more like an open beta as they expect user's communication and reports, where only some users have access to a non finished project. I hope it'll make users who couldn't get into the early access still want to buy it when complete. (and hope to get into the early access myself)
