The Dreamcast is at least 3 whiskers better than the Saturn; at most several bits. During the Saturn era, Sega should have been managed more stably and SOJ swallowed its pride and been more helpful towards SOA as well as vice versa, plus Bernie should have been fired about a 1 1/2 to 2 years earlier. Also interesting that the Dreamcast was going to have a Zip Disk drive released before the abrupt discontinuation in 2001. What would have changed had they supported the Dreamcast up to April of 2002, honestly?

i think would if sega keeped the dreamcast alive they would been better off then they are now heck the dreamcast could have sold more if they just keeped alive

Also, the Dreamcast should have had an 8-button controller; something which the Saturn did have. One of the things the Saturn does indeed have over the Dreamcast is the controller setup. 8 buttons Saturn controller vs 6-button stock Dreamcast controller with its analog stick right above the dpad.

Well, they could have either had later models be compatible with DVD format disks out of the box, OR strike a deal with JVC to make a DVD module that connects onto the Dreamcast.
