dreamcast help burning games and other

ok so i got a dreamcast and i heard u can play burned games without modifiyng it and i went to the website called dciso.com and looked at marvel vs capcom 2 and on the bottom it says self booting no so what does that mean so ya what does self booting mean and if you guys can what are coool things i can do with a dreamcast

1 - No ROM sites, remove that link NOW.

2 - Self-booting images mean they can be played without modding the dreamcast as you heard. You will either use DiscJuggler (CDI) or Nero (MDF/MDS) to burn the disc image.

ok if i have a game thats not selfbooting how do i play it

Then you'll need to use the boot disc.

Yes, you burn it like you would a self-booting game.

And what do I do I know for bleak u wait till it starts blinking to put the ps1 game in but what do I do with this

For this boot CD I linked you to, you burn it like you would a game (so for this you'd use DiscJuggler since it's a CDI), and you simply put it in your dreamcast and start it, then it'll show a 3D image of a reindeer (if I remember right) and tell you to put the actual game disc in and press a key.

Then it starts the game.
