DrasticDS - Nintendo Switch port

This is a wrapper/port of the Android version of DrasticDS.
It loads the original Android emulator core, patches it and runs it.
It's basically as if we emulate a minimalist Android environment in which we natively run the original Android binary as is.

Features

  • Cover art— auto-download from SteamGridDB
  • Region flags (US / EU / JP) and a sortable library
  • Per-game settings — override options per title; rename and delete games
  • Full controller remapping, stick config, deadzone, touchscreen, analog stylus, and gyro support
  • In-game overlay — save states, per-title Action Replay cheats, screen layouts, filters, fast-forward, and runtime settings
  • Custom screen layouts — horizontal, vertical, single-screen, hybrid, integer scaling, and a complete layout editor
  • Drastic filter chain — Nearest, Linear, Quilez, Scanlines, Scale2x, HQ2x, FXAA, FXAA HQ, and SMAA
  • Multiple storage sources — load games from SD, USB mass storage, or SMB shares
  • LSFG 2× Frame Generation with the Vulkan renderer

Renderers

Choose in Settings → Graphics → Renderer:
  • Vulkan (NVK)— recommended; best performance and required for LSFG Frame Generation
  • OpenGL — alternative if a game or filter misbehaves under Vulkan
Credits :
  • Drastic developers for the emulator.
  • fgsfds for the Switch so-loader groundwork reused here.
  • TheOfficialFloW for the original Android so-loader lineage.
  • Dantiicu - Switch Vulkan driver.
  • PancakeTAS - LSFG-VK.
  • Slluxx - IconGrabber.

copy paste your api key in launcher.ini

@Nagaa
Thank you a lot for that wonderful emulator!..

Btw noticed a some kind of nasty input lag, maybe like 200-250 ms. Is there any technique or setting to minimize it more, like 20-50 milliseconds or something?.. :)
One can test it in 'New Super Mario Bros', for example.

tnx. but when quiting to launcher, it's just black screen and need to force quit the app. and looks like the High-resolution 3d is also not working.

the frame generation is working (it's good but just weird, im not used to see ds game on this kind of setup). 😅 thanks.

Another unoptimized emulator. Let's hope it improves, but for now, it runs worse than melonDS.
Thanks for this very useful feedback...
It's a first release so ofc it can have issue and will improved, for exemple Golden Sun needs overclocking on melonDS and NooDS, while on Drastic it runs at full speed with no overclocking, it's a different emulator, so each game will behave differently

I didn't notice that much input lag in the games I tried i'll try New Super Mario Bros.

Nice! congrats for every port you are doing. Can melonDS android version can be ported too?
There is already a native switch version

I'll check that
FG on DS games is pretty bad but still added it in case some people want to use it

Tales of Innocence English patched, left screen black screen after FMV, unless pressing fast forward. The game is running as there is still music and voice in the background. This is with and without FG.
