Dragon Quest Monsters Heading To 3DS

Nothing much else other than "its a remake coming to 3DS" has been shown other than it'll have the same title but with a 3D added (in Japan anyway, over here it was Dragon Warrior Monsters) and also it will hit Japan sometime in 2012.

The GBC (also worked on GB) game was a very enjoyable one and was by the excellent Tose who have also done Metal Gear Solid GBC & the Starfy series. They have also done some not so good stuff BUT they also did Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (which out did any Zelda DS title by 100%) & Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 1 & 2 so are still very good at make DQM games and with them doing those I hope they are doing this remake too though I'm not sure if they are also handling the new Dragon Quest Rocket Slime 3DS game. There was a remake for the PSX which included the 2nd title too but I doubt that'll be the basis what with it looking more like an enhance port.

For those not in the know, it was very comparable to Pokemon though it was way more in-depth as well as having a very well made breeding system.

I've been really disappointed with SE output with only the new Rocket Slime game being of any interest for me so very happy to see this though...would prefer an official version of DQM: Caravan Heart.

Seriously? It is all the way from GBC which I have not even played. Have you?

I should just go to every remake/port thread and say "yet another remake/port", disregarding all original titles announced.

I never disregarded all the orginal games for the 3ds, that still doesn't change the fact its another remake.
I still might pick it when its released.

it might even be a suggestion by nintendo to SE to bring remakes to the 3ds as that would be faster and keep the 3ds library filled a little.

This is one game that DESERVES a remake, unlike the original bloody Pokemon games. When it comes to monster collecting, the original Dragon Quest Monsters game is by far and away the best in the series thus far and one of the best monster collecting games ever made, I always enjoyed it's depth far more then Pokemon.
