ROM Hack Dragon Quest IX Issue

My Story!

I played Dragon Quest IX for 250 hours, and I thought "Why shouldn't I start a new game?". I moved my old Save File to my PC, and when I booted the game, it automatically made a new .sav file. But after that, it said the new file was corrupted!
I decided to download the game again, but it said the same! So I decided to format my SD card, I'd put all my things back on it (including the most recent version of Sakura) and after puting that cable-thingy in the PC, I tried it again. But no, I lost half of an hour, but it was for nothing.
I tried downloading another version of the game, and that was what I needed. It works now!

So you ask: "Waflix, what is your problem?"
I say: "Well, everything works perfectly. But when I enter the Stornway Inn, my hero dissapears, he is invisible! And more annoying is, is that I have to pay 12 Gold Coins to sleep there, and the means that I have to pay 12 Gold Coins more then normal!"
EDIT: I don't have to pay 12 Gold Coins more then normal, you normally have to pay that also. But she did say "You're a friend of Waflix, right?".

So I hoped that anyone knows of this problem, and I hope even more that anyone knows a solution or a patch. (FileTrip doesn't have one for this, and so doesn't the internet).

tl;dr
My hero disappears when I enter the Stornway Inn. Everyone talks to me like I am character 2, accept when I am behind the helpdesk.
I hope anyone knows a solution.


Problem solved! I started a new game, and now I am able to see and play my hero again!

either you have cheats on, or you messed with hex values. IF non of the above applies, make a new save, or get new game, might be corrupt.

I don't even have a .cht file, so it is impossible that one of them is on. I also checked it, and the answer is: no.
I didn't mess with the hex values, I downloaded it, and played it.
It is probably corrupted, yes.

It is the .sav. I know for sure. The old save works perfectly with the new ROM, I see my hero. So I have to start a new game, after 4 hours of playing...

Problem solved! I started a new game, and now I am able to see and play my hero again!
