Hacking Dragon Quest IX Help

I don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask this but I have an Acekard 2i for my DSi XL and I've been playing Dragon Quest IX for the past week now -- no issues -- and would like to be able to play my saved game on my PC using DeSmuME. I've tried several online and offline save converters and everytime I try and load the converted save it tells me its corrupt. Can anyone please help me with this?

This would be under the NDS Emulation section, not here. But it sounds like a problem with DeSmuMe. You can try NO$GBA as well.
