I transferred over my save file from the Japanese version to the western version using Checkpoint and Goldleaf and they are 99.99% compatible with one another. The only thing which won't get carried over are the names you entered (my own name was changed to the default "Creatrix")

So I assume the save editor will work just fine for the western release.

he has not touched it since the Japanese release
I just did a test build. the only thing that editor does is the name (which can be changed in-game anyway) so aside form any CRC/checksum/whatever work, everything would essentially be starting from scratch.

Sorry about the noob question, but how do I run this japanese save editor? It has no executable file or anything of the sort.

You'd need to build it with a tool like Visual Studio. The 'editor' doesnt really do anything, though, so there really isnt a point.

[/ QUOTE]

Can you share your save data?
I beg you.
