I wish they'd just make a good one for once.
Fun, even. All of the recent ones have some bullshit gimmick (rock paper scissors style QTE) added to it, OR it's Battle of Z which is more "strategic" (lol) and team-based.
I just want to punch some fools in the head and play DBZ. Like Budokai Tenkaichi 3. All I can hope for is something like that, the story will still be boring but it's fun and there's no good DBZ games on PS3/PS4 yet.

New game is called Dragon Ball: Xenoverse and will be developed by DIMPS, the guys behind the original Budokai games.
The trailer has me hyped, I can't even remember the last time I was hyped for a Dragon Ball game.

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse will be the reason to purchase a PS4 in 2015/16 for me.

Please just give us a budokai tenkaichi 3 remake or leave us alone, that game did it right and i still play it competitvely with friends and most new dbz games are utter crap (Battle of Z, really?!)

Dimps is far superior to the shitty Spike who made crap like Tenkaichi 3 that had 160 characters that unfortunately were clones of more clones, at least they gave each one different special/ultimate attacks though ultimately they didn't feel very different from each other, though.

Tenkaichi 3 is an okay game but not worth playing for an hour much less 30mins, perhaps for 10mins and done.

I wish they would do more games like DBZ Budokai 3 it has easy controls thats the only DBZ game I really like I think I'll just skip out on the current DBZ gen games & just play modded versions of Budokai 3 for new characters/transformations Super Saiyan God/5 forever fan

Despite me being a huge fan, the last DBZ game that I've bothered playing was Tenkaichi tag team on the PSP. If this came out on PC, I'd probably think about picking it up. I also kind of want a game based on Kid Goku's journeys, I think that'd be interesting.

Even though I really enjoy Dragon Ball: Origins' 1 & 2, I'd still have to say Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure is even better.

Maybe he wants good games that cover Kid Goku's journey. To be blunt, the Dragon Ball Origins games were pretty crappy.

No. They were pretty good but oddly enough they decided to split up the game into two parts which covers early and late arcs of Dragon Ball.

Dragon Ball: Origins 1 in Europe featured the original Japanese score which includes awesome tracks such as Makafushigi Adventure, whereas US didn't have them, I think.

Got to play the Beta yesterday and it was pretty good, but then today I logged back in and turns out Bandai Namco disabled the Beta until Oct 4-5. *sigh*

Anyhow, been playing Uncharted 2 on my PS3 and it is definitely a game worthy of a 9/10 or even a 10/10 I love it!
