Gaming DQ 9 Help

I'm in Coffinwell and I beat the "Contagion" and Catarrhina has died. Phlegming is nowhere to be found. What am I supposed to do next,its not very clear on what to do next.

For those still early into the game don't read. This is about 8 hours into the game.

Help please

Go to the graveyard near the church at night.

I did that and Phlegming is still holed up in his office. I've talked to everyone in town.

When the girl dies, you need to go to her grave at night to see her ghost. She will be there worried about the guy. You can then go to his lab.
