So! First impression was good. Holding it feels about right. The handle button is not great. The face buttons /are/ pretty great. The triggers are fantastic, though they are certainly not GameCube triggers. The sticks are fine, but you can see an issue here: where it sticks. The caps are adequate, and it's easy to alter OEM GameCube caps to fit. The non-textured cap is high, and I don't know if anyone will like the height.
There are changes that for sure need to be made to make this a proper replica, but for what it is, I'm okay with it. $65 is too high, though. $50 feels about right.
It's just so weird that there are companies spending money to produce such inferior replicas. They'd be better off producing high quality products that everyone wants instead of these meh products that kind of leave everyone wanting something better.
Compared directly to the WaveBird, the differences do stand out.
