Hacking downloading games

hello all was wondering if someone could explain to me if i can damage my modded wii if i play pal or any other game i download i am just scared of killing my wii. and lastly what are some ways to brick your wii is it by wad files or dvd games kinda confused here thanks for the help

You can only damge it if your update with a game from another region than yours. Example if your NTSC don't update from PAL or JPN. Use Starfall to block updates

I believe some games contain updates, not everyone has the internet.

Discs can have updates inside them. Like Animal Crossing or WiiFit to name two.

ok so if i download a ntsc game and it has 20 files with 48 mb in them how do i do this procedure to install it to a dvd-r? i can download regular games without all the files just fine and install to dvd-r.

Oh and a hint, those 20 files, gotta use IZArc (or similar) to combine them into one big ISO
