@d0k3
Is it normal, when trying to boot D9 from sysnand 9.2 (Left + Power under Luma3DS), by using hblauncher_loader_v1.2 cia to launch HBL menu that I always get a black screen now?
D9 works in A9LH (Start + Power), but not anymore when using the .3dsx inside HBL in sysnand 9.2

I can't give you more info than this, but the very latest FBI boots fine from sysnand 9.2 (cia or .3dsx) and emunand 11.0 (cia only)
Thanx

There are known problems with several of the older entrypoints now, some of them having to do with the grown D9 payload size. Brahma should work, though. Maybe it has to do with HBL 1.2? Or you're using a newer FIRM? If not, this is being researched. In fact, basically all the older entrypoints may need updates now

That CIA has some kind of corruption. Can you install it as it is now?

Only a few pointers, you will have to figure out the rest on your own. You need to manually dump your SecureInfo_A, movable.sed, LocalFriendCodeSeed, ticket.db from your current NAND. You need a 9.2 transferable of your region (maybe from Plailect). Force inject this, then inject back the files I mentioned earlier.

Everything you need to know is in the readme. MAKE FONT=ORIG

i will try it after i hardmod my brick n3ds

how to ctrnand transfer between old 3ds and new 3ds? i just dump ctrnand on old 3ds and auto ctrnand transfer on new 3ds but mynew 3ds wont boot into home menu stack at splash screen luma @d0k3

Which FW? To my knowledge, starting from some FW version (4.x), O3DS FW will at least be very unstable on N3DS.

from my testing, 6.x is still somewhat stable, but as soon as miiverse gets added on O3DS FW in the N3DS, you get a soft brick, as the handheld tries to force you to discover miiverse but fails miserably to start it.

A bug? The dumper is not really designed to dump flashcarts. It may work with some, and it may not work with others.

See above. The Sky3DS (not plus) is special, it doesn't work with the dumper.

I don't even remember putting this here :). Normmatt's new TWL dumper code is in the latest release, though, and if there are any improvements, I want them. :)
Works with my sky3ds (blue button) just fine. Are you talking about the red button or blue button?

Sent from my Browser on a New 3DS XL with A9LH

Does the NCCH/NCSD to cia create a console-unique cia?
The ticket is a part of the CIA and also the only part that can be console unique. The CIA converter uses a standard ticket template, so, no, it is not console unique. It will be the same regardless on which console it was converted.

Someone was able to load OoThax by opening the camera, going back to home menu, then quickly opening OoT3d, they then launched D9 and restored a backup to get out of this situation (putting this here in case anyone comes across this issue in the future)

Thank!

Also, what do you mean by standard ticket?

Hi guys. I had originally posted this in the Noob Paradise, but it got buried. This is probably a more appropriate place anyway.
Anyway:
Hi all, I've got a question involving GBA VC.
So after [finally, I'm lazy] dumping all my GBA games and setting them up as CIAs, all that's left to do is inject my saves.
However, when I attempt to inject my Super Mario World save [and probably all the other games too] I'm given the following error:
No usable file found
GBA VC inject: failed!

So, what am I doing wrong? I have my SMW save at the root of my SD card, set as gbasavevc1.bin. I'm running the latest version of Luma, on A9LH 11.0, on o3DS, and yes, SMW was the last GBA game I played.
Thanks in advance.

I think maybe it should be in d9game, or decrypt9 folder since those are the two primary folders the program uses.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Yeah i was right, i dumped the Save data from nand, it was found in decrypt9 folder. so it belongs in there. :P

Any chance of changing the name one day.. perhaps from Decrypt9WIP to Decrypt9? It's clearly WIP - most homebrew is!

Great app, thanks so much for your hard work.
Maybe when the work in progress is no longer A work in progress but completed :D
Also Post #4000 in this topic :toot:
