Tried dumping a game cart with this new release for both full and trimmed options and neither had the private header inside of the rom files when i checked them, is that normal?

yes, what GW does is not standard, that's not where the private header is actually stored. Hence the option to dump it separately :)

Dumping the private header is a separate option.

I have a problem, in HBL version (.3dsx) launch but restart the homebrew and come back to menu HBL, because it is?

EDIT: I use A9LH and Sysnand 11.0 O3DS

When do people ever read... If your (Sys)NAND is > FW 9.2, most entrypoints will not work, there is no way around it. Use a9lh as entrypoint and everything will work.

I was looking to confirm that but I could not see him, excuse me, but not ask... Just wanted to know if I could get to use it without rebooting.

PD: Thanks :3

Probably doing something dumb, but I have been trying to dump my ssb4 cart (I don't really want to download a cia because I have really crappy internet). I updated my keys and made sure they are all correct, but when I go to dump the cart, I just get

Cartridge ID: FFFFFFFF
Error reading cart NCCH header
[any of the 4 options]: failed!

Dumping other carts work fine, and reinserting/rebooting does not change anything. I have tried on my o3ds (using homebrew) and n3ds (using a9lh).

You're the first one with that problem...
Can you give us the region of your cart and can anyone confirm there are problems with dumping SSB4?

If it's just the one cart you're having problems with, have you tried cleaning the contacts on the rear? I had a similar problem with a couple of DS carts when using Wood Dumper - they'd work fine but when you tried to dump them the card ID would come up as garbage. They didn't look particularly dirty but cleaning them definitely fixed the problem.

I cleaned the contacts and it is still giving the same error :/ The game works fine if I were to play it.

Just in case it's relevant, there are at least 3 versions of the US cart.
If you look on the rear there should be the game serial followed by six digits - the third digit should indicate the revision number.
i.e. AXCExxyxxx where y = revision number (either 0, 1 or 2)

@ih8ih8sn0w can you tell us what number you have?

Whenever I try to inject the fbi app that the rxtools beta 3 package provides into my hs enunand app it doesn't show up but when tried with sysnand hs app it shows up, is this a bug?
The real question is, why are you using anything related to rxtools at all when there's a perfectly simple and better way to generate you own? :P

Don't use this, this can't work. Generate the inject app using Universal Inject Generator.

If you own a DS, you can use Woddumper. Wooddumper can also be ported to 3DS, but that goes beyound my capabilities, tbh.
I tried adding DS dumping support to Uncart using code from Wood Dumper, but got stuck when switching into KEY1 mode. The header was read correctly, but attempting to read anything in the "secure area" just resulted in garbage.

I might try it again using Decrypt9WIP as a base later.
