Yeah sadly that is to do with how Brahma (the loader Decrypt9 is built into) and Ninjhax 2 work (or don't work) together. Something drastic changed in the way ninjhax works (pretty different exploit setup) between 1.1 and 2.0 making ANY homebrew that relies on brahma to work, not work. :(
So if you're on 9.2 or below and want to use anything that relies on brahma, ninjhax 1.1 is your only option (or the MSET or spider version in Decrypt9's case).
Yeah, I guess so... Problem is, I want to extract the ticket.db from my 10.1J New3DS without hard-modding. *sigh* Oh well... ;m;

Only way to do that (that i know of) is if you were previously on exploitable firmware and dumped your nand xorpad and have a hardmod installed to dump your nand.

Which, sadly, isn't possible because when I got my New3DS, it was already on 9.6. *sigh* Oh well... Guess it's the waiting game, again...

Could someone please tell me how to get this program working?
I only know how to do it via Ninjhax 1.1. There are other ways... the GW launcher.dat browser exploit on 4.5, bootstrap and CakeHax. If your FW is > 9.2, you're out of luck, Decrypt9 will not work for you.

@everyone:
Has anyone already tested the new EmuNAND options? I can't test the seedsave dumper myself and I need feedback! @key1340 maybe?

Probably a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway:

If I already have gateway, meaning I already have launcher.dat on my sd root, does it mean that I can't have I can't use the web browser to launch this? (unless I am delete gateway's launcher.dat of course)

I have been to busy to test the new emuNAND stuff. I will test all the new stuff on o3ds and n3ds later today.

Hello,
Spider Launcher not work on my O3DS XL (4.5E), it does not work properly, the way I've found is, start loading decrypt9.dat and once the loading bar 100% I open the menu and loading is done properly.

@d0k3

The Universal ncchinfo.bin support works fine with riku's cia converter.

The new version has Decrypt9.dat.If that is the version to be launched from mset it also needs Decrypt9ROP.nds to be able to launch it.

The new EmuNAND features don't work.On o3ds and n3ds i get.

EmuNAND is not available!
Titlekey Decrypt: failed!

EmuNAND is not available!
Ticket Dump: failed!

EmuNAND is not available!
Seedsave Dump: failed!

@d0k3 Can you tell me where can I can find a (very) old version of Decrypt9?
Because the ncchinfo.bin created by 3Ds Simple CIA Converter can't be used with Decrypt9.

And and I me remember that an old version can do it.

My 2ds firmware is 9.0, but I don't understand how to launch it from Cubic Ninja, because there is no .3dsx file in the folder I downloaded.

That's a problem in the explot, not in Decrypt9, I think. How about other stuff loaded via Spider launcher, same problem?

Thanks a ton, again! I already have an idea for a fix, but if you should have the time... If you do a full NAND backup with the new version now, what is the exact size (in byte) of it?

Decrypt9.dat is for the CakeHax exploit, by the way :).

Using the 20150918 WIP from github, Decrypt Titles refuses to decrypt my 7.X crypto games because I don't have slot0x25keyX.bin...
But I'm running Decrypt9 from 9.2 sysNAND on my 2DS. Really annoying, sounds simple to fix.

With your old Decrypt9 you can launch it with Decrypt9.3dsx for Ninjhax or Launcher.dat for browser hax.

With your new version you have included Decrypt9.dat.In @Shadowtrance version Decrypt9.dat is lunched from MSET/DS profile exploit.To launch anything from MSET you need to include a rop.nds or you can't launch it.If you look in @Shadowtrance version you will see Decrypt9UI.dat and Decrypt9UIROP.nds.

And my NAND dumps are.

o3ds 943MB 965,632KB 988,807,168 bytes

n3ds 1.21GB 1,269,760KB 1,300,234,240 bytes

I've got something new to test for people with hardmods... not ready yet, but I found a newer implementation of Normatts sdmmc.h and the FATFS file io routines. In theory, we'd have faster file operations with this, but this is also some pretty low level stuff and possibly somewhat dangerous. I can't and I won't test this, as I still don't have a hardmod.

We'd need to test reading and writing, with several features (NAND backup / restore, partitions inject, also small stuff such as ticket dumping). The results of each operation have to be verified (check if the dumped files are still the same as with the earlier version).

So, anyone willing to give a helping hand? As I said, I still need some time to implement this, and I won't code it if no one will test it.
I can help out with this. I can test as soon as I get home. Is there a certain type of results you would like? Or I can just tell you any speed differences and if it creates any issues on the nand.
