Is it possible to downgrade within the same fuse group?
E.g 3.02, 3.01 to 3.0?
Or 4.0 to 4.1?

I get you can’t downgrade if burnt fuses but not each firmware has different fuses

Yes, use ChoiDujourNX or a NAND backup to downgrade within the same fuse set and you don't have to worry about fuses being burnt if you boot OFW without RCM.

Technically, you can still downgrade even if fuses are burnt. You will just have to put it in RCM everytime with a payload to get it to actually boot.

3.0.0 has 3 burnt efuses, 3.0.1/3.0.2 have 4 burnt efuses.
But to answer your question, yes, it's possible, I've done it once too (2.1.0 to 2.0.0).

Sorry I wasn’t clear, I don’t want to use RCM every boot. essentially I’ve read the potential exploit will work under 3.01fw, my friend has 3.02 so was going to legit downgrade.

How do I do it?
